Every summer, the faculty of professional artists and educators guide more than 270 of Kentucky’s finest young artists through three weeks of incredibly intense (and incredibly fun) arts instruction. It’s a thrilling, often life-changing experience, as they meet new friends, explore their creativity, and discover how they can make their own unique impact on the Commonwealth and beyond.

GSA is looking for current KY high school sophomores and juniors with skill in their artform, passion for creativity, an open mind, collaborative spirit, and an eagerness for learning! GSA auditions & reviews the Commonwealth’s most promising high school sophomores and juniors in nine different arts disciplines: Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Film + Photography, Graphic Design, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, Visual Art and Vocal Music.
